SOKU-Örebro and SOKU-Norrköping, St. Kyriakos' traditional camp in Motala was held for the second time, this time with higher expectations and an indescribable longing to be reunited. The purpose of this camp is to create bonds between the associations and not let them disappear over time.

The weekend started with a review of the rules and shortly afterwards food was served that the hungry stomachs couldn't refuse. After the delicious food it was time for a couple of simple get-to-know-you games, to refresh your memory and get to know the new participants.

Afterwards it was time for free time, and of course everyone took the opportunity to be outside and enjoy the wonderful weather Sweden had to offer. Some played cards, others chatted and a few dared to take the first step forward and take a dip in the chilly sea.

When the clock approached 10 p.m., it was time for grilling. A lot of attempts were made to get the grill started, but it wasn't until about 90 minutes later that anyone managed to get it started.

The sausages went home to the young people and they stopped their stomachs for a while, at least long enough to have a little time to discuss and pray. Paulin read a text from the book “under ytan”, a very nice text that is about forgiving.

The evening offered exciting discussions and unexpected guests who came to have fun, as a thank you for their company they were offered sausages and bread. As they started to leave, some of them started telling some funny and embarrassing stories they had experienced in their lives or ones they had only heard about.

At 04:00 people slowly but surely started to trickle into the cabins to sleep, but the night wasn't over for some yet, some didn't sleep at all that night but went for walks or sat outside the cabins and continued talking. Now it was a whole new day, at least for those who had been able to sleep a little while! It was time for breakfast.

After breakfast, outdoor activities and “Mandilo” were on the agenda. New ideas for games came in and they brought laughter, tears and not least a few scrapes here and there.

After all the play, the leaders were kind and offered some free time, so it became the usual, swimming, sunbathing in the shade as some did, sleeping, playing cards, football, etc. Lunch time, today they offered spaghetti and meat sauce and then you were once again free to do what you felt like.

When the loooooooooong free time was over, it was time to get out the charcoal, lighter fluid, a big grill, fire and last but not least, the chops! Time for chops and potato salad for the hungry bellies. When everyone was full and satisfied, it was time for Daniel Yalin to take his place, he had a lecture and gambling addiction, but before he started, everyone stood up to hold a minute of silence together for our beloved sister Norba Haddad.

When Mr. Yalin had finished the informative lecture, it was time for meditation. This time was also very much appreciated by the young people. It was a nice and peaceful moment for many! Sahro on G! A small party with lots of laughter and dancing, which went on for a long time with lots of smiles. We must not forget that we celebrated Johan Puh!

The evening continued after Sahron both in the venue and among the cabins, but one thing was certain, at five o'clock there were only a few people wandering around among the cabins.

Now it was time for the worst part of the whole camp, which was cleaning the cabins. But it went really well, everyone was good and did what they were supposed to. When it was finished down at the cabins, it was time to head upstairs and have breakfast. Because of the bad weather, we had to stay indoors that day, so there wasn't much more than dancing, talking and card tournaments. Wonder who won!?

After dancing, talking, laughing and playing too much joker it was time for food AGAIN, pasta salad with chicken. When everyone had finished eating it was time for everyone to help clean the venue, the toilets and the hall, because the bus was there. Which meant it was time to head home.

All of us from both SOKU-Örebro and SOKU-Norrköping just want to say that it was an unforgettable camp! Honestly! Thank you all for the nice, wonderful and successful camp!
